Would you like to experience some Finnish culture within a group of young active people? Forget the noise and fuss of the city. Bury your worries in the ground while working in our herb garden. Feed and milk the cows. Participate in handicraft workshops. In the morning relax by the side of the lake and listen to the birds singing and in the evening after dinner go for a swim or a boat trip.
Budget traveler
We offer you the opportunity to help us a few hours per day with our works on the estate and its farm. In exchange you will get the lowest possible price for a room and happy evenings with good country-side food and drinks (see also: Guest house ). It is a good change to meet new people and make connections for the continuation of your journey.

Are you looking for a practical training place?
Are you studying to become a farmer, builder, artist, craftsman etc.? In Gaija you can come and do your training in a motivating, creative and relaxing environment. We offer you a chance to be creative and work out your ambitions. And while you learn by doing, we get more helping hands to get our work done.
As a practical trainer you get free accommodation for your training period. We only charge a fee of 50 Euro a month for our general costs (food, electricity..)
Professional
We seek help for repairing the wooden houses on the farm, designing and making handicraft, art, workshops and courses. If you are interested of giving your work and skills in the help of our eco-farm we offer you free accommodation (board and lodging) and a full right to use Gaija's property; sauna etc. for your own good. Also salary is possible if courses etc provides us money to pay it ;>
